How to Achieve Chappell Roan's Manicure at VMAs 2024? Secret to Singer's 'Warrior' Nails

Chappell Roan stood out for her manicure with a modern twist, as she embodied Joan of Arc warrior woman at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

During the ceremony, Chappell brought back medieval fashion by wearing a sheer Y/Project gown topped with a mint green cape.

To maximize the time travel in the past, she also wore high boots, a necklace with a large cross, a Lilian Shalom ring, and even brought her personal knight.

But what added to the drama were her extra long nails, which resemble armor and a sword!

As her VMAs manicure became a hot topic among beauty lovers, Roan's manicurist Juan Alvear revealed the secret to achieving this spiky metal nail inspo — which can be re-created using these three simple products!

According to NewBeauty, Alvear revealed that Roan's long nails were done by stacking two Aprés nail tips.

First, he used the Gel-X Sculpted Square Long Tips with gold chrome. This product is retailed for $17, and this comes in a box with 280 press-on nails and 14 sizes. Buyers can purchase it by visiting apresnail.com.

Second, another layer was connected to the long-sized nails using Extra Extra Long Tips with silver chrome. This is also priced at $17, and each box contains 210 nail extensions.

To seal the look, Juan used a Glossy Top Coat from aprés for $13, to give the manicure durable strength for the long VMAs ceremony.

Mani enthusiasts can wear it plain, but adding extra ornaments like pearls can also be opted.
